Dear Friends and Family,

Well this year has defiantly been a busy one. I am still trying to figure out where the time has gone…It is so hard to believe that it is almost 2009!

Gracee Lynn: Our little midget (yes she still has the midget title) turned 3 this year and she keeps us laughing. She has become quite the little “drama queen” and comes up with the most random sayings sometimes! She just started pre-school this year and loves it. She also started dance lessons and preformed at the “Festival of the Trees”.
Landon: Landon is almost 8 and growing like a weed! He loved playing football this year and looks forward to spring ball and the “Pigskin Tournament” in Las Vegas again next year. He started the 2nd grade and seams to really enjoy school (especially the social part)! He is still pretty determined to have his own rock band when he gets older but we have convinced him (at least for now) to keep his hair short. Landon loves riding his bike and skateboard and still gets in trouble for leaving his ramps in the driveway, on the sidewalks, in the road and anywhere else he thinks would be cool to make jumps.
Shelbie: Shelbie is getting straight “A’s” in 5th grade and enjoys school. She is starting her 14th month of chemo and we just found out she will be done with this protocol towards the end of Feb to the first part of March. Her tumors have not grown in size which we are very grateful for, but the last MRI she had (Dec 15th) showed that the tumor was still active. Right now the plan is to finish up her chemo protocol and start radiation which will consist of 5 days a week X 6 weeks long. She is not looking forward to this but does look forward to the day when she can be treatment free! Like Mother, like Daughter… Shelbie is officially addicted to the “Twilight Series”. She is almost done with the second book and she finished the first just in time for the movie to come out. Shelbie is sweet as ever and definitely an inspiration to everyone around her.
Justin and Liz: Justin still works for Desert Edge Property Management and really enjoys working for one of his best friends. He is still League Commissioner for the NYFL- UTAH DIVISION, and was also an assistant coach for Landon’s football team again this year. Liz still enjoys working at the bank. Outside of work she enjoys reading, working iu the yard (yea! We got our backyard done this year!), running circles around the kids and their activities and school stuff and as silly as is sounds is trying to find the time to keep up with the blogging thing. Ok so no more excuses… I will seriously try to keep the blogs updated as much as possible!!
Zego: Zego is the newest addition to our family and we just love him! He turned 1 in July and is 66 lbs. One of his favorite things to do is chase Justin around the bar….. he has even tried jumping over it. He has also learned very quickly how to get us wrapped around his little paws! He has discovered that if he tries to jump up on dad’s side of the bed he gets pushed off and told to go to his pillow…..BUT.. if he jumps up on moms side of the bed she is nicer and lets him stay. He is a cuddler!

We want to let all of you know how much we appreciate your love and friendship. We hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2008
LOVE,
JUSTIN, LIZ, SHELBIE, LANDON AND GRACEE

So at this point there is so much to say that I am just going to say that we are all ok right now and more pictures and thoughts will come...
